Azerbaijan pankration fighters claim three gold medals in International Martial Art Tournament in Estonia

Azerbaijan`s national pankration team has brought home a clutch of six medals, including three golds from the 4th International Martial Art Games in Tallinn, Estonia on February 24-27.

Golds were claimed by Orkhan Gahramanov weighing in at 57 kg in full agon division and Taleh Sadigov at 77 kg. Nijat Akhbarov weighing in at 57 kg won the first place in Agon division.

Elman Farzaliyev (85 kg) gained a silver medal in full agon division, while Orkhan Nazarov and Huseynali Abbasov secured a bronze medal in 64 kg and 95 kg in agon division respectively.

Azerbaijan ranked second behind Russia in the total medal count. The 4th International Martial Art Games held by the International Martial Art Games Committee (IMGC) brought together about 300 athletes from 40 countries.
