Azerbaijani athletes to participate in Moscow Jiu-Jitsu Tournament

The tournament will bring together athletes from Azerbaijan, Russia, Bulgaria, Greece, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Moldova, Tajikistan, France, Montenegro, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Estonia and others.

Azerbaijani squad led by the first Vice President of the federation of Jiu-Jitsu Ali Jafarov included Natig Alayarov and Khalil Babayev weighting in at 69 kg, Salim Salmanov at 77 kg and Elshan Ibishov at 85 kg.

Referee of the international category Mirjabbar Seidov will represent Azerbaijan at the contests.

Tournament is carried out yearly by the company of foto.ru and by the Moscow Federation of Jiu-Jitsu with the support of the office of the plenipotentiary Deputy President of the Russian Federation in the central federal region, the Russian Federation of jiu-jitsu and Moscomsporta.

Competitions were included in the calendar of the International Federation of Jiu-Jitsu and are the significant and bright event in the sport life.
