Fifth Chovkan President Cup starts in Azerbaijan

Fifth Chovkan President Cup for has started in the Republican Center of Equestrian Tourism in Dashuz village in Shaki region of Azerbaijan. The competition, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Executive Power of Shaki region, has brought together 15 teams from various cities and regions.

The tournament which officially opened on December 19 will last through December 22. The tournament held since 2006 aims at preserving traditions of national equestrian competitions, promoting and developing equestrian tourism.

Chovkan is national equestrian sport of Azerbaijan.
