Azerbaijani boxer Ali Ismailov could be contender for WBA belt

PABA cruiserweight champion and world title competitor, Azeri Ali Ismailov will come to the ring in Germany this weekend to meet with Cuban Yoan Pablo Hernandez.

Hernandez has lost only once to former world champion Wayne Braithwaite, but has secured 8 victories since then. Ismailov-Hernandez encounter will be a qualifying under WBA version. The winner will meet the champion Guillermo Jones or holder of owner temporary belt for this version Steve Erelius.

The encounter will take place during the show, where Ali’s recent rival Denis Lebedev will battle for the world title against Marco Huck.
