Azerbaijan's capital will host the WAKO European kickboxing championship from next Wednesday.
The tournament will bring together over 700 fighters from 35 countries, including 45 from Azerbaijan.
The tournament's guests of honor will include presidents and vice-presidents of the participating countries' federations, as well as president of the World Association of Kickboxing Organizations Ennio Falsoni.
The tournament will feature two professional fights for the title of the WAKO champion, one of which will pit Azerbaijan's Parviz Abdullayev against a Russian kickboxer in the 71 kg class.
