Azerbaijan's veteran judo fighter claims European crown

Azerbaijani veteran judo fighter Azer Asgarov (100kg) has grabbed gold medal in the European championship in Croatia. Another Azeri judo fighter Farhad Rajabli (90kg) won silver, while Mushfig Jafarov (66kg) and Rasul Sultanov (100kg) grabbed bronzes.

Azerbaijan ranked 9th in the overall medal table. Russian topped the table, followed by Italy and France.
