Azerbaijan's chess teams beats India and Turkey in world Olympiad

Azerbaijan men's chess team have beaten India 3-1 in the 6th round of the world Olympiad in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, while the women players defeated Turkey with the same score. In the men`s event, Shahriyar Mammadyarov and Rauf Mammadov contributed to Azerbaijan`s victory by defeating Krishnan Sasikiran and Surya Shekhar Ganguly, while Teymur Rajabov and Gadir Huseynov drew with Pentala Harikrishna and Baskaran Adhiban.

Zeynab Mammadyarova and Turkan Mammadyarova won Cemre Yildiz and Kebra Ozturk, while Nargiz Umudova and Khayala Isgandarova drew with Emel Kaya and Bercu Sesmazel in the women`s competition.
