World Youth Chess Championship is underway in the Georgian town of Batumi. Two Azerbaijani chess players took a lead in the championship after two rounds. Vusal Durarbeyli leads the ranking of players no older than 18 years with 6 points. Azerbaijani Ulviya Fataliyeva also ranks first with 6 points among girls no older than 14 years.
Another Azerbaijani Abdulla Gadimbeyli is second among players no older than 8 years, Narmin Kazimova is second among girls no older than 18 years and Narmin Kgalafova is third among girls no older than 16 years. Two rounds have left until the end of the European Championship.
