Azerbaijani grandmaster ranks 3rd at the Dortmund tournament

Azerbaijani grandmaster Shahriyar Mammadyarov finished 3rd in the International Tournament in Dortmund, Germany, after losing to Russian Vladimir Kramnik in the last round. The round's other results were as follows: Hungarian Peter Leko 1-0 German Arkadij Naiditsch, Ukrainian Ruslan Ponomariov 0.5-0.5 Vietnamese Le Quang Liem.

Ponomariov claimed the title of the tournament.
