Karate fighters from Azerbaijan grab 5 medals in Greece

Azerbaijani karate fighter Akbar Shamilli (60 kg) captured a gold medal in the World sindo ryu championship in Alexandroupolis, Greece.

Rasul Humbatli weighing (40 kg) and Elmar Hasanov (65 kg) gained silver medals, while Magami Bayramov and Javidan Isayev won bronzes in the 80 kg and 95 kg weight categories respectively.

Azerbaijan's head coach Abbas Humbatov has been elected the best referee of the tournament which brought together more than 1000 fighters from 47 countries.
