Azerbaijan karate team finishes first in 'Eurasia Open' in Istanbul

In the team event, at the 'Eurasia Open' Enshin Karate tournament in Istanbul, Azerbaijani sayokan team ranked first with 4 medals. Second place was taken by the German team.

Afig Mustafayev (85 kg) mounted the highest step on the podium. Silver medals came from Ramil Bilalov (85 kg) and Allahverdi Zamanov (90 kg). Ramil Bagirov (over 90 kg) gained a bronze medal.
