Azerbaijani grandmaster to battle for world medals

Azerbaijan's European champion Vugar Hashimov will compete in the fourth ACP World rapid chess cup in Odessa, Ukraine.
Hashimov will face Russian Pavel Tregubov in the first round. The Olympic system tournament will see participation of 16 famous grandmasters, including ex-world champion Russian Anatoly Karpov. Total prize fund of the tournament amounts to $70,000, with the winner taking $14,OOO.
