It was all systems go in the first half as Luxembourg welcomed Azerbaijan to participate in one of tonight's many international friendly matches.
Berti Vogts' side opened the scoring after 27 minutes when Farid Guliyev struck home to give the visitors the advantage.
It wasn't long, though, before Luxembourg's Jeff Strasser brought the teams back to level pegging. The Grasshopper star made no mistakes as he found the net six minutes after Guliyev.
Just as the hosts thought they had found their lifeline, Elvin Mammadov punished the side for putting their heads down after the goal.
Mammadov left it only three minutes after Strasser, to give the travelling side the lead once more, and ultimately win the game for Berti Vogts' men.
