Azerbaijan to host licensed taekwondo tournament

Azerbaijan will host international taekwondo tournament in autumn of 2011.
The decision was made by Board of the World Taekwondo Federation majority of whose members voted in favor of the Azerbaijani capital.

Thus, Azerbaijan left U.S. behind in a dispute over the right to host the competition.

Azerbaijan hosted license tournament of a European scale back in 2004.
