4 Azerbaijani athletes to perform on Day 16 of Rio 2016

Four Azerbaijani athletes will perform on the 16th day of the Rio 2016.

Azerbaijan’s track-and-field athlete Evans Kiplagat (marathon), wrestlers Toghrul Asgarov (men’s freestyle 65kg) and Khetag Gazyumov (men’s freestyle 97 kg) will perform today, on August  21.

Boxer Lorenzo Sotomayor (-64 kg) will fight for gold medal.

Fifty-six athletes are representing Azerbaijan at the 2016 Summer Olympics, underway in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The games, which kicked off on Aug. 5, will end on Aug. 21, and will be followed by the 15th Summer Paralympic Games on September 7-18.
