Azerbaijan`s Mammadyarov to compete in Reykjavik Open 2016

Azerbaijani grandmaster Shahriyar Mammadyarov will vie for medals at the Reykjavik Open 2016 to be held in Iceland from March 8-16.

The tournament will bring together 246 chess players, including 32 grandmasters and 31 international masters from more than 30 countries.

Prizes in 2016 will include many special prizes for various ages and rating categories, in addition to the traditional top women prize and main tournament prizes.

The Swiss system tournament will feature 10 rounds.
