Azerbaijan once again demonstrates fantastic organization of sport events – UK female gymnast

Azerbaijan has once again demonstrated fantastic organization of sporting events, UK female gymnast Katherine Driscoll, who is participating at the FIG World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics in Baku, told reporters March 5.

She said that she has already been to Baku at the European Games, and that the organization is once again fantastic. Driscoll also mentioned very friendly people, the fans, which are wonderful.

The female gymnast expressed hope that she will be able to compete for medals in the finals.

Driscoll took the second place having scored 101.160 points and reached the finals of the FIG World Cup at the end of the qualification events.

The FIG World Cup in Trampoline Gymnastics is being held at the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku.

Athletes from Europe, Japan, Australia and the US are participating in the World Cup, which opens the first season of the Olympic competitions.

Overall, 77 gymnasts (46 men and 31 women), who represent 17 countries, are to participate in the competitions.

Following the first day of the qualification event, the competitions will complete by finals on March 6.
