Azerbaijani athletes win over 820 medals in 2015

Azerbaijani athletes won a total of 823 medals on Olympic and non-Olympic sports in world and European championships, Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov said Dec.25.

He made the remarks during the press conference on the results of 2015.

The minister noted that of the total number of medals, 321 are gold medals, 222 silver and 280 bronze medals.

Azerbaijani athletes won 297 medals on Olympic and 526 medals on non-Olympic sports, according to Rahimov.
