“Our peace” auto enthusiasts reach Myanmar

A group of auto enthusiasts from different countries that travel all around the world with the automotive expedition "Our Peace" has reached Myanmar. The expedition, consisting of 13 members, is being represented by the Azerbaijani club, "Offroad," with the support of the Azerbaijani Automobile Federation.

Until recently, Myanmar has been closed to tourists traveling by private car. Members of the expedition, headed by Russian Alexei Kamerzanov, became the first visitors after the lifting of the ban.

Members of the expedition plan to visit a total of 50 countries on five continents. In the second phase of the expedition, which began in October, the participants will visit India, Pakistan, Iran and Azerbaijan.

The expedition team includes participants from Azerbaijan, Paris, Moscow, Novosibirsk and Krasnoyarsk. Elshan Salimov is representing Azerbaijan in this thrilling expedition.

Starting from June, the expedition overcame the first stage of the tour that passed through Russia, Mongolia, China and Nepal.
