National boxers scoop three medals in Strandja Tournament

The 66th Traditional International Strandja Tournament was held in Sofia, Bulgaria on February 24-28.

The event was attended by 244 fighters including 173 men and 71 women from 34 countries, according to Sports.uz.

Azerbaijan's team was attended by nine boxers in the men`s event, and four - in the women. Azerbaijani boxers have claimed three medals, including two gold and one silver medal.

The gold medals came from Elvin Isayev at 60kg and Lorenzo Sotomayor at 64kg. In the women`s event Elena Vistropova gained silver medal in the 64kg weight division.
