Azerbaijani taekwondo fighters scoop 3 medals at 1st WTF World Cadet Championships

Junior Azerbaijani fighters have grabbed three medals on the opening day of the 1st WTF World Cadet Taekwondo Championships in Baku.

Mahammad Alizade (33 kg) and Minaya Akbarova (29kg) gained silver medals, while Nargiz Mirzayeva won bronze medal in the 37kg weight class.

The four-day championship brings together nearly 600 fighters from 65 countries.
Azerbaijan`s squad includes 18 fighters.
