Neymar's World Cup adventure ended

Brazil forward Neymar has been ruled out of the World Cup after being injured in the 2-1 quarter-final win over Colombia. A team doctor has confirmed that the Barcelona player has fractured a vertebrae in his back.

Neymar was unable to complete the match against Colombia, being stretchered off after going down following a knee in the back from Juan Zúñiga. In scenes that will have left people all over Brazil with their hearts in their mouths, the forward was unable to get back up and left the field in some distress.
