Azerbaijan stores take five medals at European taekwondo championship

Azerbaijan have claimed a haul of five medals as the European taekwondo championship wrapped up in Baku.

The final day of the championship saw two Azerbaijani fighters win bronzes.

In the men`s 74kg weight category, Ilkin Shahbazov had to be satisfied with the bronze medal after losing to a French fighter.

Farida Azizova earned bronze in the women`s 67kg class.

In the previous days of the championship Azerbaijan grabbed one gold and two bronze medals.
