Bale officially Real Madrid player

Gareth Bale is now officially a Real Madrid player. The Spanish club and Tottenham have announced the deal for the Welsh winger. It has taken some time for the deal for the player to be officially announced, as although the agreement had been reached last week, negotiations then stalled over the form of payment.

The Welshman's arrival is the icing on the cake of the new-look Real Madrid, after the signings of Isco, Illarramendi and Carvajal. 24-year-old Bale has signed a six-year deal and will be officially unveiled tonight in the Bernabéu.
