Azerbaijani wrestlers vie for world medals

Azerbaijani wrestlers test their strength at the FILA Cadet World Wrestling Championships starting in Zrenjanin, Serbia on August 20.

Azerbaijan`s hopes will be pinned on Mikayil Rahmanov weighing in at 50kg, Niyazi Mammadov at 54kg, Zahid Alakbarzade at 58kg, Sanan Alimirzayev at 63kg and Adambek Shidukov at 100kg.

The first day of the championship saw Men`s Cadet Greco-Roman 50, 54, 58, 63 and 100 Qualification Rounds, Repechages and Finals.
