Spurs pushes back 100 million Bale bid

Daniel Levy refuses to sell Gareth Bale to Real Madrid, despite the fact that the Welshman has already told the Tottenham president that he wants to play for the Spanish club. According to reports by the BBC, the Spurs boss rejected a record offer of £85 million (€98.5 million).

The player has not taken part in the recent friendlies played by his team, supposedly due to injury, and this had raised suspicions regarding a transaction which could become the most expensive signing in the history of football. For the time being, the Tottenham president is holding on to his star.
