Lewandowski says last season at Signal Iduna PArk

29 July 2013 [16:00] - TODAY.AZ
The Poland international had been pushing for a move away from Signal Iduna Park but is now set to see out the final year of his contract with the club

Robert Lewandowski has revealed that while he is content to see out the final year of his contract with Borussia Dortmund, he has had a "bit of trouble" with certain people at the club.

The Poloand international seemingly had his heart set on a summer switch to Bayern Munich but die Schwarzgelben refused to given the proposed move the green light, having already lost Mario Gotze to the European champions.

Lewandowski has admitted that having to stay at Signal Iduna Park has been somewhat awkward, but insists that he has not had any problems with his team-mates.

"The issue is settled," the striker told Sky Germany. "In the team, I feel good, but I have had a bit of trouble with other people ... It is a difficult issue."

Lewandowski played a key role in Dortmund's remarkable run to the final of last season's Champions League, scoring four times in the first leg of their semi-final success over Real Madrid.
