Mou cements Mata's place in Chelsea

José Mourinho has put an end to rumours that Juan Mata could be on his way out of Chelsea by announcing that he sees him as a part of his new project at Stamford Bridge.

"He's part of my plans and I see no reason to sell him. He has a lot to offer the team, he's staying with us and will have a great season," Mourinho stated.

This ends speculation surrounding the Spain international who now looks likely to see out his contract at Chelsea.
