Real's Perez renounces Ibra & Verratti rumours

The Blancos president has made it clear that Carlo Ancelotti has no intention of raiding his former employers this summer

Florentino Perez has insisted that Real Madrid will not attempt to sign Paris Saint-Germain duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marco Verratti this summer.

A number of recent reports have suggested that new Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti was keen to lure the powerful attacker and the Italy international away from his former club.

However, Perez has now stressed that the Liga giants will not make a move for either of the duo - nor will they be signing anyone else from PSG.

"Ancelotti has not asked us to sign any players from Paris Saint-Germain," the Madrid president was quoted as saying by L'Equipe.

"I can guarantee PSG fans that we will not go after any of their players. We will not attempt to sign Ibrahimovic, nor Verratti."

Madrid have so far secured the services of Casemiro, Daniel Carvajal, Isco and Asier Illarramendi this summer, but Perez recently hinted that they are not yet finished in the transfer market this summer.
