Azerbaijani sportsmen shine at Summer University Games - UPDATE

Azerbaijani runner Khayle Ibrahimov has claimed gold medal in the men`s 5000m race at the 27th World University Summer Games in Kazan, Tatarstan.

Azerbaijan`s medal haul now consists of seven medals, including two golds, three silvers and two bronzes.

Azerbaijani woman wrestler Patimat Bagomedova has won silver medal at the 27th World University Games in Kazan, Tatarstan.

She secured the medal after beating Brazilian, Canadian and Ukrainian wrestlers in the 48kg class.
