Azerbaijan`s Mammadyarov takes top lead at FIDE Grand Prix Series after beating Topalov

Azerbaijani grand master Shahriyar Mammadyarov has outclassed former world champion Bulgarian Veselin Topalov in the 7th round of the FIDE Grand Prix Series in Beijing to make it to the top of the tournament`s table.

Mammadyarov now has 4 points.

The masters event, which involves 12 grandmasters, will feature 11 rounds.
