PAULINHO broke down in tears after agreeing his £17million move to Tottenham.
The Brazil ace yesterday completed a switch from Corinthians.
Yet he sobbed: “It’s hard to talk about a moment like this. But it has been three wonderful years in my career.
“They made the offer to my manager and to Corinthians. I analysed it and chose Tottenham.
“We thought it was the best way, the best choice.
“I’m going from one great club to another, which is Tottenham, that plays in a great league. I’m sure that I will do my best. I have no regrets and I will not regret it.”
Midfielder Paulinho, 24, sealed the deal after meeting boss Andre Villas-Boas and passing a medical.
He has been welcomed by countryman Sandro.
The anchorman said: “Whatever Paulinho needs, I’ll be here to help.
“He will help us become stronger, I’m sure of that.”
