Azerbaijani wrestler becomes champion of Europe

Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler Sakit Guliyev has won gold medal at the European championship in Skopje, Macedonia.

He climbed on to the winner`s rostrum after beating Moldova`s Aleksandru Biciu in the 55kg final.
Ruhin Mikayilov earned bronze for Azerbaijan in the 66kg class, while Orkhan Nuriyev added another bronze in the 84kg weight category.

Azerbaijan ranked second in the overall medal table with one gold, one silver and three bronze medals.
