Tottenham to knock for Villa

Next week, Tottenham Hotspur's Technical Director, Franco Baldini will sit down with David Villa to talk of a possible move by the Asturian to the Premier League. This, at least, is what 'The Daily Mail' reckons, while also assuring that Roberto Soldado is also on the Spurs' list.

It seems that André Villas-Boas has expressly asked for the Spanish forward, as after last season's disappointing performances by Adebayor and Jermain Defoe, the manager is looking for a '9' that can continually deliver the goods.
