Cruyff: Ancelotti will be breath of fresh air for Real Madrid

In the second part of his exclusive interview with MARCA, Johan Cruyff switched his attentions to Barcelona's arch-rival, Real Madrid.

"Ancelotti will be a breath of fresh air. Real Madrid has great players, they just need to play like a team. Ancelotti will make that happen. He has played and coached at the very top, so he knows full well what goes on in the dressing room".

"I already had a very high opinion of Isco from his performances at Málaga and what he did at the Under-21 Euros only added to that. He has ability, but he'll face stiff competition at Real Madrid because there are a lot of other players in his position", the Dutch legend claimed.

The former Barça boss backed the idea of Zinedine Zidane serving as Ancelotti's assistant: "Zidane coming back or not seemed to change from one day to the next. It is vital in terms of structure to have people in place who understand football and know the club inside out because they have played there".

Finally, Cruyff gave his stamp of approval to Real Madrid target Gareth Bale: "I'm a big fan of him as a player. He would be joining from England, where the style of football is different, but he has bags of talent".
