Ancelotti's Real post reaches to be real

17 June 2013 [08:45] - TODAY.AZ
Carlo Ancelotti is counting down the hours until the announcement of his signing for Real Madrid. His wishes may come true very shortly, given that 'Los Blancos' have made a huge step forward in the last few days in the negotiations to seat the Italian manager in the Bernabéu dugout.

José Ángel Sánchez, Real's general manager, has been in Qatar for three days meeting with PSG's owners in order to finally sew up Ancelotti's exit from the French club, and appears to have struck the final blow.

The manager is optimistic and hopes that PSG and Real will sign the documents which free him from his obligations with the French club on Monday.

He contacted Real Madrid once again this week through his agent Ernesto Bronzetti to tell them that he is ready to join the club straight away.

Ancelotti was under the impression that Leonardo was going to pass on his request to leave to the PSG president. He failed to do so, and that has created more confusion.

PSG has ordered Leonardo to speed up moves to sign a new manager and the director of football insists on bringing in Dutchman Guus Hiddink, who currently manages Anzhi in Russia.

Real Madrid will have to pay €4 million to cancel his contract with PSG, but Ancelotti will earn less money than Mourinho as the 'Los Blancos' manager.
