Lewa to be 'yellow' next season

10 June 2013 [16:40] - TODAY.AZ
Robert Lewandowski is staying at Borussia Dortmund for the upcoming season. Or at least this is what the website of German newspaper 'Bild' is claiming, in reports quoting the club's CEO, Joachim Watzke.

Several big guns have been credited with an interest in the Polish striker, including Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, but it appears that the player and his agent have both been told that the club isn't willing to sanction a departure.

The marksman still has a year to run on his contract, meaning he could be set to depart Dortmund on a free transfer next summer. Speculation has been rife in recent months concerning a switch to Bayern Munich, with the Pole believed to favour a move to Bavaria, but it seems that no deal is imminent.
