Barca to look for goalkeeper as Valdes leaves in summer

Víctor Valdés has told Barcelona that he would like to be sold in the summer and will therefore no longer remain a player at the Catalan club after 30th June.

According to Radio Barcelona, the goalkeeper will not fulfil his contract which runs out in 2014.

The future of Valdés may lie in the Premier League. Arsenal could be the destination for the Spain international, but first the London club must come to an agreement with Barcelona.

Barça will now have to start looking for a new goalkeeper for the coming season.
