Barca fans say Hummels first

The ball is rolling on Barcelona's preparations for next season and the fans are in no doubt as to their preferences when it comes to signings. Borussia Dortmund centre-back Mats Hummels and Brazilian maverick Neymar are the pick of the bunch in the view of 'Azulgranas' supporters.

Perhaps surprisingly, it is the German defender who heads the fans' wishlist. Some 76% of the respondents to the MARCA.com poll on the subject voted in favour of signing the centre-half, while Neymar was picked by 74%, garnering 2,000 fewer votes than the Dortmund stalwart.

Next up in the 'Azulgranas' fans' sights are Isco and Lewandowski, both of whom were voted for by 64% of respondents. It seems that the Málaga midfielder's silky performances week in, week out and the Polish marksman's recent breathtaking display against Real Madrid in the Champions League have won over the Barça faithful.

Thiago Silva and David De Gea were the other pair to make the cut. A total of 56.5% of the supporters polled gave the Manchester United shotstopper their stamp of approval – a stark contrast with the other goalkeeping candidate included in the poll, Vicente Guaita, who was given the thumbs-down by a majority of respondents.

Rounding out the unwanted list are Roma defender Marquinhos (80% voted against), Uruguayan Luis Suárez (70% oppose his signing) and elegant defender Iñigo Martínez (66% don't want to see the Real Sociedad starlet at the Camp Nou).
