Azerbaijani judo fighters garner 7 medals

Azerbaijani judo fighters have claimed a clutch of seven medals, including three golds, a silver and three bronze medals at Grand Slam judo tournament at Sarhadchi Olympic Sports Center in Baku.
Gold medals came from Shahin Qahramanov weighing in at 90 kg and Elkhan Mammadov at 100 kg.

Nijat Shikhalizade weighing in at 66kg gained silver, while Huseyn Rahimli and Elmar Gasimov won bronze in the 73kg and 100 kg class respectively.

Azerbaijani female fighter Kifayat Gasimova grabbed bronze in the 57kg weight category.
The tournament brought together more than 190 fighters from 25 countries.
