Azerbaijani jokey takes gold at CSI4* Int'l Tournament

Azerbaijani jokey Rahib Ismayilov has won gold medal at CSI4* international equestrian tournament marking the 90th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev in Baku.
He secured the medal with his horse nicknamed “Welga”.

Georgian Georgi Tokhadze finished as a runner up, while Manuela Kiss won bronze for Azerbaijan.

The tournament brought together 25 jockeys with 65 horses from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Romania and Iran.

The total prize money of the tournament amounts to $ 265,000.
