Azerbaijani Budo fighters appear to be first in Moldova

Azerbaijani sportsmen gained first place in European Budo Championship held in Moldova among 39 countries.

Azerbaijani fighters Rahib Ahmedov weighing in at 70 kg, Mardan Valiyev at 75kg, Khayal Quliyev at 80kg, Hasan Aliyev and Elvin Ahmedov at 95 kg scooped gold medals and Fakhraddin Ismayilov at 65 kg won silvers medal.

In the free contact competitions Sakhavat Aliyev weighing in at +100 kg won gold, Rustam Rustamov at 70kg and Fariz Nabiyev at 80kg scooped silver medals.

In the tournament of seniors, Azerbaijani Nail Mammadli weighing in at +100 won gold medal of the championship.
