Azerbaijan gains first boxing victories in Armenia

Azeri boxer Rakhil Mammadli (91 kg) won Sahret Delgado Murie from Puerto Rico 17:11 at the 1/16 finals of the Youth Boxing Championship in Yerevan. Thus, Azerbaijan gained its first triumph at the event. In the 1/8 finals, Rakhil will fight against Venezuelan Alfonso Flores. This fight will take place on 2 December.

 Azeri boxer Tural Ahmadov (52kg) advanced to the second round of the 2012 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championship in Erevan. The boxer defeated Norway sportsman Hadi Srour and won by the score 21-12.  The rival of Azeri boxer in the next stage is Mauritanian Donovan Gerie.

On Thursday Azerbaijani boxer Nasreddin Mammadov (56 kg) lost the first fight.
