Azeri boxer reaches semifinal at London Olympics

Azerbaijani boxer Magomedrasul Medzhidov has qualified for the semifinals the men`s super heavy (+91kg) event at the London Olympics after defeating Russia`s Magomed Omarov.

Medzhidov, who already guaranteed the bronze medal, will lock horns with the winner of the Italian Roberto Cammarelle vs Egyptian Mohammed Arjaoui encounter.
