Azerbaijani wrestlers win FIVE medals at European Championship

The European Cadet Championship in Free Style, Female Wrestling and Greco-Roman Style runs in Katowice, Poland . On the first day of the competition, Azerbaijan was represented by Joshgun Mammadov (42 kg), Ruslan Surkhayev (50 kg), Jahid Hassanzade (58 kg), Shamil Sadullayev (69 kg) and Chermen Bagayev (85 kg).

The athletes showed one of the best results. Mammadov became the champion by defeating Lutfi Kucukkildirim from Turkey in the final. Moreover, Surkhayev, Hasanzade and Bagayev  won silver and Sadullayev bronze.
