Azerbaijani boxers preparing for London Olympics

The Azerbaijani National Team of Boxing is on the training-camp in Assisi, Italy. The team included 7 boxers who won the licenses for the Summer Olympic Games in London. The boxers are Elvin Mamishzade (52kg), Muhammad Abdulhamidov (56kg), Heybatulla Hajiyev (64kg), Soltan Migitinov (75kg), Veten Huseynli (81kg), Teymur Mammadov (91kg) and Muhammadrasul Majidov (over 91kg). The team is being prepared for the Olympiad by the Head Coach of the National team Nariman Abdullayev and his assistant Rasim Mammadov.

Along with the Azerbaijani team, there are also training the national team of Italy which will be represented in Olympiads by 7 boxers and 6 boxers from Ireland.

The Azerbaijani National Boxing team will come back to home on July 19, and then after a week will leave for London.
