Speaking about the championship to be held in Baku, Canadian U-17 coach Bryan Rosenfeld said that in accordance with the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup 2012 final draw, their team will first face Nigeria, Columbia and then Azerbaijan respectively.
“Earlier we had a change to play with the Columbian team and we are familiar with their style of play. As for Azerbaijan, I am sure Azerbaijani soccer players can surprise us with their performances at all”, Canadian U-17 coach Bryan Rosenfeld said.
Speaking about successes the Azerbaijani sport achieved recently, B. Rosenfeld added: “I am sure Azerbaijan will organize the championship in a high level”.
According to the draw, rivals of Azerbaijani team in Group A are teams of Columbia, Nigeria and Canada. Group B includes teams of France, the United States, North Korea, and Gambia, Group C - Mexico, New Zealand, Brazil and Japan, Group D - Germany, China, Uruguay and Ghana.
FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup will be held in Azerbaijan from September 22 to October 13.
