Azerbaijani athlete to vie for world rowing crown

Azerbaijan`s Olympic hopeful Alexander Alexandrov will compete in the U23 World Rowing Championship due to take place in Trakai, Lithuania, next week.

According to the Azerbaijan National Rowing Federation, Alexandrov will compete in the men`s 200m-race. It will be his last official performance ahead of the London Olympics.
