Azeri karate team wins European championship

Azerbaijani karate fighters defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina in the final and gained a title of a champion of the 10th European Karate Regions Championship.

The national team included seven adult athletes and six junior karate fighters. Champion Rafael Agayev weighing in at 75 kg, Niyazi Aliyev in at 67 kg and Aykhan Mamayev in at 75 kg were also among them.
