Baku hosted int'l wrestling tournament

An International tournament on Free and Greco-Roman-style wrestling among cadet and junior wrestlers for the Cup of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AWF) has ended in Sarhadchi Sport Olympic Center here.

Vladimir Kudrin weighting in at 50 kg and Bolat Sakayev at 66 kg from Kazakhstan, Lasha Talakadze at 55 kg, Sandro Aminashvili at 84 kg and Omari Gusoshvili at 96 kg from Georgia, Ahmadnabi Gvarzatilov at 60 kg and Ali Magomdabirov at 120 kg from Azerbaijan climbed the highest step of the podium in the last day of the event.

Winners were awarded with medals, diplomas and money prizes by the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation. Georgia has become first, Azerbaijan second and Kazakhstan third in the team event respectively.
